Hasnain Zia

I am a passionate Mechatronics Engineer eager to apply engineering knowledge, creativity, and hands-on experience to solve real-world problems and improve systems for the betterment of humankind.

I interned in embedded design at a defense engineering organization working with the FPGA Cyclone 4 kit, developing digital circuits and applications such as a calculator, stopwatch, counter, and sequence generator. I was also selected from over 4,500 applicants for a competitive Amal Academy Fellowship, where I invested 150 hours developing communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

I led electronics design for an automated storage and retrieval system that projects a 70% reduction in manual handling and 50% increased operational efficiency, and I have designed an 8051 MCU development board, PLC-based conveyor sorting, and kinematic models in MATLAB. I bring practical experience in Verilog, MATLAB, LabView, PCB design, PLCs and embedded development and I seek roles building automation, robotics, and embedded solutions.
