What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a regulation-heavy role where I can own statutory compliance and tax/audit work end-to-end, combine finance with legal risk thinking, and keep modernizing workflows with AI—while reporting with confidence to senior leadership like a Group CFO.

I’m a finance and legal professional with 12 years of experience spanning statutory and tax audits, Ind AS/IFRS financial reporting, and corporate legal advisory. In my current role at STGI Technologies Consulting, I lead statutory compliance for a ~220-employee India subsidiary of a US-based fintech, reporting directly to the Group CFO and owning Softex filings, Internal Financial Controls (IFC), MCA, GST, and Income Tax. As the sole in-house authority across commercial contracts, HR statutory compliance, and litigation exposure, I combine CA and LLB training to surface legal risk alongside financial review.

I’ve also built and led compliance-heavy teams—guiding up to 25–30 accountants through audit and compliance engagements, with a track record of auditing 300+ entities and representing clients in tax assessments and appeals. Earlier, as Head of Accounts at Ambala Cotspin, I single-handedly built the finance and compliance function from incorporation and managed labor compliance obligations, while also driving an end-to-end fire-damage insurance claim settlement of approximately ₹14 crore. I’m currently enrolled as an Advocate licensed to practice law across India and I’m pursuing US CPA, while driving AI-enabled accounting automation to reduce manual effort in reconciliation and reporting.
