Haroon Marks

I’m an English Lecturer dedicated and student-focused, with experience teaching English at high school and undergraduate/graduate levels. I strengthen learning through “curriculum design and innovative strategies” that build critical thinking, communication, and analysis.

I design and deliver structured courses by developing “syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, and assessment materials” aligned with institutional standards. In my classes, I facilitate lectures, seminars, and discussions that promote analytical skills and active student engagement.

I’m committed to inclusive classrooms that support diverse learners, combining strong classroom management with clear instructional and instructional/organisational skills. I also provide academic advising and mentorship to support student success, and I participate in “curriculum review and accreditation processes.”

Across my roles, I’ve supported student progress with constructive feedback, using interactive approaches to improve language and analytical skills. I also bring creativity through “creative writing” and a focus on literary skills, including poetry and literature reading.
