What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an academic and clinical role in maxillofacial surgery where I can lead reconstructive cases, advance microsurgery, and continue toward my PhD—building multidisciplinary teams and training residents.

I’m an Assistant Professor (MD) in Maxillo-facial Surgery, focused on surgical care and reconstructive procedures with consistently high case volumes. I bring fellowship-level plastic surgery and microsurgery experience from South Korea, and I’m pursuing my academic trajectory with an approved PhD application.

I’ve served in multiple hospital settings and roles, including vice director of the COVID-19 Emergency Committee and senior/junior resident positions across pediatric, general, orthopedic, and maxillofacial services. My surgical work spans complex head-and-neck procedures—such as neck dissection, free flap reconstruction, orbital fracture repair, and facial oncologic excisions—alongside operative care in multidisciplinary centers.
