At Inrange Golf, I design sheet metal, welded and machined parts for golf ball-tracking systems used at driving ranges worldwide. More than 30 custom parts and assemblies I designed are in use at over 15 sites, with zero field failures.
I prototyped and redesigned tee-line ground anchors to reduce manufacturing cost and make them flat-packable for shipping. I also designed components for a new sensor and reworked a shoulder screw to reduce CNC machining setup cost.
I led six international system installations, all completed ahead of schedule, and introduced a survey method that reduced Trimble X7 site laser scanning time by 40%. At Inrange Golf, I also led the design and build of an indoor golf simulator room for R&D and client demos.
At Intratech, I led CATIA V5 design and reverse engineering projects and ran courses for engineers from Volkswagen, Toyota and other companies. I’m a certified CATIA V5 Expert, with experience in GD&T, design for manufacture and prototype development.
