At Newton Crypto, I led day-to-day finance for a Canadian digital asset platform with over $20M in annual revenue and managed a five-person team. I supported successful CIRO registration by coordinating regulatory reporting, audit deliverables, and improvements to financial controls.

I rebuilt finance processes, resolved historical accounting and intercompany issues, and moved accounting closes from monthly to daily. I also introduced daily revenue tracking, weekly profitability analysis, and monthly forecast updates.

As a co-owner and managing partner of Modern Controller, I helped grow the firm to $550K in FY2024 revenue while serving 100+ clients, and helped negotiate its seven-figure sale. My earlier work includes accounting and assurance engagements at Loukatos & Associates and BDO Canada LLP; I’m a CPA with a Graduate Diploma in Accounting and a BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University.
