What I'm looking for

I’m seeking an NYSC placement in a forensic, molecular, pathology or related laboratory environment where accuracy, confidentiality, careful sample handling and supervised laboratory practice are valued.

At Palmars Hospital Limited, I collected, received and processed blood and routine clinical samples under supervision during my SIWES placement. I assisted with routine testing, sample preparation and result recording.

In that laboratory, I performed or assisted with urinalysis, blood grouping, PCV, glucose, malaria and Widal testing, using a centrifuge and glucometer as part of the routine workflow. I followed laboratory safety procedures and handled samples carefully.

My B.Sc. in Microbiology from Rivers State University included a final-year project on microbial analysis of spoilt Allium cepa (onion) sold in Mile 3 Market. I’m developing an interest in forensic biology, DNA analysis and biological evidence, and am completing training in forensic DNA analysis and immunology.
