I am an accountant with 3 years of experience in full cycle bookkeeping and financial reporting across construction, hospitality and oil and gas contracting.
At Ken Sampson Limited (Nov 2025 to Sep 2026), I set up the company's books in QuickBooks Online from scratch, imported bank transactions, and reconciled bank accounts to the ledger. I ran the month end close, processed payroll for about 30 staff and reconciled it to the bank, and computed and filed VAT and withholding tax. For a major client project, I prepared a full IFRS financial statement package, reclassifying project costs and rebuilding the trial balance. I also tracked project spend against budgets and supported the year end audit.
Before that, I worked as an Internal Auditor in hospitality, where I reconciled cash and bank discrepancies and identified control gaps, and as the sole finance professional at a salon business, where I overhauled record keeping and followed up on collections.
I have a B.Sc. in Accounting and the Xero Certified Associate certification, and I am an ICAN student member with two Skills level papers passed. I am looking for a remote bookkeeping or accounting role where careful reconciliations and organised records matter.
