What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can apply AI, computer vision, and OCR end-to-end—from model development and fine-tuning to deploying REST APIs—working on real-world problems with strong engineering mentorship and measurable impact.

I’m a Master’s student in Computer Science at the University of Coimbra, building hands-on AI solutions in computer vision and OCR systems. I developed an end-to-end container code recognition pipeline using YOLOv8, TrOCR, and transformer-based models, delivering high accuracy in real-world scenarios.

I work across the full development workflow, from model fine-tuning and machine learning pipelines to REST APIs and deployment workflows. I also bring practical experience from roles including modeling 3D objects in Blender and integrating them into the Godot game engine for Meta Quest headsets, developing front-end components with JavaScript/HTML/CSS, and creating Python and MATLAB data analysis scripts for sensor measurements.
