Gitartha Kanwar

I’m an Agri-tech professional building my foundation in soil science through my B.Sc Hons. (Soil Science) and hands-on learning across agriculture and food systems. I interned via RAWEP (Rural Agricultural Work Experience Program, AAU) at the Assam Rice Research Institute, where I supported research & development of various rice varieties and worked on production, marketing & distribution of different rice varieties.

I also completed an Experiencial Learning Program (ELP) under Dept. of Animal Husbandry & Dairying at Assam Agricultural University, contributing to production, packaging & marketing of food products including meat products & dairy products, as well as mushroom cultivation, production, packaging & marketing activities. Alongside field work, I strengthen execution with technical skills like data cleaning & data formatting (and tools such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite), and I bring strong communication, problem solving, teamwork, adaptability, and networking. I was an Anundoram Borooah Award recipient in 2017 for academic excellency in Class X (HSLC).
