George Gathura

I’m an Analytical Chemistry graduate from JKUAT, and I bring scientific rigor to real-world operations where quality, accuracy, and accountability matter. I’ve worked across laboratory quality assurance, procurement, and auditing—always focused on measurable outcomes and clear documentation.

In my current freelance/remote work, I train and evaluate AI language models through data annotation, reviewing outputs, and providing structured feedback to improve accuracy. I also build domain-specific chemistry and science prompts to benchmark model performance, using my analytical background to validate STEM-related outputs and identify weaknesses.

Alongside that, I’ve supported procurement and quality at Gathura Investment Limited through end-to-end procurement cycles—sourcing, negotiating, and maintaining vendor relationships while ensuring on-time delivery and consistent quality control. My experience also includes rotating through QA and R&D lab workflows at Fresha Dairy Brands, running physical, chemical, and microbiological tests to support KEBS compliance, and assisting with new product formulation trials and experimental data recording.
