What I'm looking for

I’m looking to join a learning institution that lives its mission and vision, where I can equip learners with practical English skills, plan engaging lessons, and deliver strong formative/summative assessment with timely feedback—keeping students motivated through ICT and learner-centred teaching.

I’m a KS3–KS5 Teacher of English and Literature, teaching IGCSE (KS3 and KS4) English and Literature and building strong listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills aligned with the IGCSE curriculum. Since January 2024, I’ve developed lesson plans and schemes of work, set formative and summative assessments, and provide timely marking and feedback to help learners progress with confidence.

Across my roles at The Nairobi Leadership Academy, Loreto Convent Msongari, and Buruburu Girls’ Secondary School, I’ve guided learners in register, grammar, vocabulary, and effective communication—preparing them for oral presentations, discussions, debates, and functional writing tasks. I infuse joy and passion for learning, integrate ICT in learning, maintain classroom discipline and positive learner behaviour, and patronize Drama and Debate Clubs to keep students motivated and engaged.
