What I'm looking for

I seek a collaborative engineering role where I can grow as a frontend/software engineer, work on accessible performant products, learn from senior teammates, and contribute to production-grade systems and scalable architectures.

I am a detail-oriented Computer Science graduate specializing in frontend development and full-stack web applications. I focus on creating accessible, performant, and scalable user experiences using React, Vite, and modern JavaScript.

I have built full-stack projects that include RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express, relational schemas in PostgreSQL, and secure authentication with JWT and refresh tokens. I integrated Stripe PaymentIntents and Webhooks for real-time payment processing and implemented structured logging with Winston to improve observability.

I containerise applications with Docker and Docker Compose to ensure consistent development and deployment environments and follow Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices. I was selected as a Fellow in the WomEng Southern Africa programme, where I developed leadership and innovation skills applied to engineering challenges.

I am eager to contribute to a collaborative engineering team as a Junior Frontend or Software Engineer, bringing hands-on experience, a focus on quality, and a growth mindset.
