What I'm looking for

I’m looking for opportunities where I can combine graphic design and illustration to create ironic, colorful visuals—ideally in editorial or brand projects—so my multimedia training and freelance experience help deliver work that stands out.

I’m Gaia Lanza, a freelance graphic designer and illustratrice focused on creating ironic, colorful “bigliettini.” I enjoy turning everyday moments into visuals with personality, clarity, and color.

Since Aug 2023, I’ve worked as an “Illustratore grafico” at Sprea SpA | Editori (Freelance). This experience has strengthened how I approach illustration within editorial contexts—designing work that supports the message while staying visually distinctive.

I studied Graphic design & Multimedia at LABA Firenze (Nov 2020–Mar 2024), where I developed a broad base across design thinking and multimedia outputs. Before that, I attended Liceo Artistico, IIS Virgilio Empoli (FI), completing the program from 2015 to 2020.

My professional ethos is simple: make visuals that feel fun and intentional. Whether I’m working on graphic design or illustration, I aim to produce creative pieces that are easy to connect with—and hard to forget.
