At Hi-Tech Gates, I coordinated orthopedic implants and instruments for complex Trauma and Spine surgeries. I prepared surgical kits for roughly 15 procedures a day while maintaining a 0% error rate.
During my internships at Qortbawi Hospital and Hospital des Soeurs de Rosaire, I supported medical equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting. I also contributed to medical device research and software testing, and facilitated training for hospital staff.
For a project, I developed a real-time facial emotion recognition application to help autistic children interpret social-emotional cues. I used computer vision techniques and GradCAM, with accessibility for neurodivergent users in mind.
