Built and maintained backend services and internal platforms on Google Cloud to support programmes empowering first-generation technologists. Collaborated with a distributed team to deliver scalable, reliable systems aligned to the organisation’s mission of improving equity and access in tech.

Engineered high-fidelity training datasets for LLM fine-tuning, including complex multi-turn dialogue and autonomous tool-calling scenarios across calendars, APIs, and mapping services. Designed realistic function-calling sequences that were adopted into production training pipelines, improving task-completion accuracy.

Designed and shipped production microservices using Java 17 and Spring Boot 3, serving real users in a commercial environment. Optimised PostgreSQL schemas with Hibernate/JPA to eliminate recurring slow-query incidents and delivered CI/CD pipelines with Docker and GitHub Actions to reduce manual release overhead.

Developed a Java and PostgreSQL employee attendance and HR management system for over 100 staff members. Added automated reporting that eliminated manual attendance tracking, saving approximately five hours of administrative work per week, and remained in active use after handover.
