What I'm looking for

I’m looking to join a high-impact engineering team where I can build end-to-end AI systems—data pipelines, AIOps/observability, and production-ready models—while documenting openly and learning fast.

I’m a junior AI & ML engineer at heart—a builder who engineers intelligent systems designed to improve how we live, work, and connect. My journey started with AI and robotics, and quickly taught me that a brilliant model needs the infrastructure and software that deliver it. As a 4X Microsoft Azure Certified engineer and Co-Founder @Second-Spark Intelligence, I focus on building the engines that run intelligent solutions.

In my Artificial Intelligence Intern role at Econet Wireless Zimbabwe, I operated across AI and Big Data to build enterprise-scale data architecture. I orchestrated ETL and real-time streaming pipelines on the Cloudera Data Platform using Apache NiFi, Kafka, Spark, Hive, Impala, and Sqoop, provisioning data for network performance monitoring, fintech (EcoCash) revenue assurance, chatbot analytics, and large-scale hardware telemetry. I also architected a Data Engineering Observability Portal to support AIOps and monitoring, building and deploying autonomous AI agents with LangGraph, FastAPI, and React integrated with on-premises LLMs for pipeline health analysis and self-healing workflows.

Before that, during my Research & Development Intern experience at TOYOTA Connected, I worked on applied deep learning research at the intersection of AI and healthcare. My primary focus was Ruvheneko-AI, an AI-powered early breast cancer detection system—where I conducted literature reviews, helped co-author the methodology, and designed, trained, and evaluated a custom CNN for automated tumour detection with an emphasis on transparency and clinical reliability through structured reasoning approaches. I also contributed to research documentation and technical communication with interdisciplinary stakeholders, and supported deployment and business vision through customer segmentation, value proposition design, and go-to-market planning.

I don’t treat AI, data engineering, IoT, and full-stack delivery as separate silos—those are the interconnected building blocks of a smarter future. I’m a massive advocate for building in public, documenting my engineering journey, sharing architecture, wins, and the inevitable bugs, and collaborating with teams that care about high-trust, production-ready systems.
