Funmilayo Ibitoye

I am a Registered Nurse seeking a position that expands my practical experience while allowing me to provide quality health care to residents. My background blends nursing and midwifery, with a strong focus on patient-centered care from admission through recovery.

Since 2013, I have worked as a Sister Nurse at Ekiti State Specialist Hospital, responsible for assessing, planning and implementing midwifery care. I support the development of maternity services and provide skilled assistance to pregnant women throughout the pregnancy cycle.

In labour, I supervised and assisted mothers, monitored the condition of the fetus, and applied knowledge of drugs and pain management. I also maintain communication and teamwork standards, including coaching, mentoring, and directing others to build a strong team atmosphere.

Before that, I served as a Staff Nurse (2008–2013), handling patient admission, evaluation, and discharge while ensuring patients’ comfort to the highest possible degree. I led the daily operations of nursing to achieve quality performance, managed patient scheduling, and contributed to publications on maternal and child health and retroviral clients’ adherence to drug therapy.
