What I'm looking for

I am looking for opportunities that allow me to leverage my math expertise and teaching skills in a collaborative environment focused on innovation and student success.

I am a dedicated professional with a broad background in both pure and applied mathematics, statistics, and philosophy. With over 16 years of experience guiding undergraduate math students across various disciplines, I have honed my skills in delivering real guidance and encouragement. My extensive experience includes 24 years of solving complex math and engineering problems in fields such as GPS, cryptology, and wireless network performance.

As a Senior Systems Engineer at Rockwell Collins, I developed innovative algorithms that significantly improved GPS and wireless network efficiency. My work has led to two patents in cryptographic authentication and has saved millions in project costs. I pride myself on being a creative problem solver, known for finding unexpected solutions to challenging issues, and I am highly regarded for my communication skills, which have fostered strong relationships with students, coworkers, and customers alike.

In addition to my engineering career, I have taught a variety of mathematics courses at several institutions, including Southern New Hampshire University and Iowa State University. My teaching philosophy emphasizes interactive learning and student engagement, ensuring that students not only grasp mathematical concepts but also appreciate their real-world applications.
