Franco Vela

I am a passionate mobile software engineer focused on Flutter development and building scalable cross-platform applications. I bring end-to-end experience across app UI, backend architecture, CI/CD, and security practices.

I am passionate about robotics and electronics working on a couple side projects. I am planning to study robotics part time as a masters study. To move more into that field.

At CONROO GmbH I develop and maintain the Flutter app for iOS and Android, design CI/CD pipelines with test coverage and linting, and automated releases to a biweekly cadence. I have conducted security analyses aligned to OWASP Top 10 to improve app robustness.

Previously I implemented features and optimized performance at Knowunity GmbH while working remotely in a small product team and aligning work to OKRs. At Monet Financial Technologies I built a financial consumer app from the ground up, handling UI, mobile and backend implementation while researching financial regulations for compliant systems.

I hold a B.Sc. in Media Communication and Computer Science and enjoy delivering production-ready mobile products that combine solid engineering, performance optimization, and automated delivery practices.

Being one of the organizers of a Google Developer Group chapter I really enjoy the communication and community of other developers. Learning and growing together is very important especially for developers in the current domain.
