What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a remote-friendly role where I can own solar PV design end-to-end—tenders, technical proposals, system sizing, and coordination—using tools like PVSyst/OpenSolar, while working closely with clients and construction teams to deliver buildable outcomes.

I’m an Industrial Engineer and Solar PV Designer with hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle—from utility-scale field work to independent PV system design. I’ve designed 100+ solar PV systems (residential, C&I, utility-scale) from 5 kW to 400 kW, and I bring a field-tested mindset so designs are not just theoretically sound, but practical and cost-effective.

As founder of Genau Sustentabilidad, I lead technical design and proposal preparation for competitive tenders, including three provincial tender packages (two utility-scale solar farms and a university installation). I also handle battery storage integration (BESS), energy consumption/load profiling, and full delivery responsibilities such as electrical schematics, inverter and protection selection, cable sizing, regulatory compliance, and construction coordination—plus on-site supervision of hybrid systems. I’m proficient with PVSyst, OpenSolar, AutoCAD, and FusionSolar, and I’m comfortable collaborating remotely with flexible timezone overlap.

Solar PV Designer & Founder

Genau Sustentabilidad

Jan 2022 - Present (4 years 4 months)

Designed 100+ solar PV systems (5 kW to 400 kW) across residential, C&I, and utility-scale projects using PVSyst/OpenSolar and AutoCAD. Managed full project lifecycles and led technical design and proposal preparation for 3 provincial tenders in Entre Ríos, including utility-scale sites (350 kWp and 405 kWp) and a 13 kWp university installation.

GE

Residential On-Grid Installer

Gavmo Electric

May 2024 - Jun 2024 (1 month)

Delivered residential on-grid solar installations (6.6–13.3 kWp) across multiple Melbourne roof types, coordinating DC/AC cabling, conduit work, and inverter commissioning. Worked alongside a CEC-accredited electrician to complete system installation scope and commissioning.

KE

Commercial Solar Installer

Kuga Electrical

Nov 2023 - Jan 2024 (2 months)

Built a 1.5 MWp commercial solar farm from site prep through panel installation, coordinating excavation, post placement, and concrete pours. Supervised 2 operators across parallel work fronts and performed structural assembly, panel mounting, and QA/QC under AS/NZS 5033.

AS

Residential & Off-Grid Installer

All EP Solar

Feb 2022 - Oct 2023 (1 year 8 months)

Installed on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid solar systems (3–100 kW) for residential and commercial clients in rural and remote areas. Completed rooftop and ground-mount electrical works including DC/AC wiring, MC4 assembly, inverter connections, battery system integration, and remote diagnostics/fault resolution.

UE

Solar Tracker QA Technician

UGL / Vena Energy

Nov 2022 - Feb 2023 (3 months)

Performed autonomous daily QA across a 95 MW solar farm Stage 1, inspecting 400+ solar tracker rows for structural completeness and mounting integrity. Independently calibrated single-axis trackers, including ground clearance, angle verification, mechanical alignment, and rotation testing, and drove corrective actions via reporting to site leadership.
