At NTT DATA Perú S.A.C., I improved Correos España’s shipment-tracking endpoint from ~10 seconds to under 400 ms by diagnosing a PostgreSQL sequential scan and designing a composite index.
I also built and maintained a Java and Spring Boot order microservice, adding REST endpoints and fault-tolerant service integrations with Feign and Resilience4j. I wrote automated tests with JUnit and Mockito and tested API behavior with Postman.
On a personal project, I designed and deployed a serverless veterinary clinic management platform using Java and AWS SAM. It supports appointment bookings, a real-time queue view, automated reports, and resilient asynchronous notifications.
