What I'm looking for

I am seeking a role that allows me to leverage my nursing skills in research and patient care, with opportunities for professional growth and collaboration.

I am a registered nurse with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the Medical University of South Africa. Currently, I work as a research nurse for the University of KwaZulu-Natal's Cancer and Infectious Diseases Epidemiology Research Unit, where I am involved in the Multinational Lung Cancer Control project. My role includes data collection, patient assessment, and community outreach, which allows me to contribute significantly to patient care and research.

Throughout my career, I have developed strong communication skills, enabling me to interact effectively with patients and medical staff. My experience as a shift leader in oncology has equipped me with the ability to manage multiple patients and ensure high-quality care. I am committed to improving patient outcomes and have a deep sense of empathy, which helps me support patients and their families during challenging times.
