What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a security-operations role where I can strengthen SIEM monitoring, incident response, and Fortinet-based detection workflows—while mentoring others, improving alert quality, and delivering measurable efficiency and SLA outcomes.

I’m a cybersecurity-focused Systems Engineer with 2+ years of hands-on SOC experience across Level 1 and Level 2 analyst roles. I bring strong fundamentals in SIEM monitoring, incident detection & response, and vulnerability analysis, backed by Fortinet security tooling (NSE 1–3 certified).

In SOC operations, I’ve fine-tuned Fortinet detection rules and optimised alert workflows to boost analyst efficiency by 20%. I also designed 40+ use case templates to reduce alert notification times, and I’ve built vulnerability remediation guides that became standard documentation across the team.

Alongside security operations, I support IT infrastructure through systems support, help desk & user support, and implementation of controls like firewalls, antivirus, and access management.
