Fawad Sakhi

I am a Senior Network Officer at Afghanistan Payments Systems (APS), with hands-on experience in network infrastructure, firewall administration, and secure connectivity.

I have practical experience working with Cisco ASA Firewalls, Sophos Firewalls, Cisco Core Switches, and Cisco Routers, with a strong focus on network security, VPN connectivity, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintaining reliable network services.

In my current role, I work on enterprise network infrastructure and connectivity between APS and banks, financial institutions, EMIs, and other partner organizations. My responsibilities include configuring and troubleshooting site-to-site VPNs, managing firewall policies, supporting secure network connectivity, monitoring network performance, and troubleshooting connectivity and transaction-related network issues.

I am passionate about networking, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and continuous professional development. My goal is to continue expanding my technical expertise and contribute to building secure, reliable, and resilient IT and network infrastructures.
