What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a remote role in Content, Communications, Video Editing or Social media where I can turn complex ideas into stories people actually stop to read, watch or share. I bring 5+ years as a Multimedia Journalist across TV, radio and digital platform, I’m based in Nairobi comfortable working with EMEA, APAC, and partial US hours, and open to full-time, part-time or freelance work.

I started in radio, reporting community stories for Love FM in Port Harcourt and I’ve been interviewing people for a living ever since: government officials, experts, traders at the market, students looking for work.

Over 5+ years at Love FM, AIT, and Kaftan TV, I conducted 60+ interviews and produced more than 200 news and feature stories. More recently, I interviewed young people on the street about unemployment and turned it into a magazine feature and a newspaper special report. At Love FM and Kaftan TV, I also ran the stations’ social media pages, planning and scheduling posts and engaging with audiences, which grew engagement by 15–30%.

In 2024 I moved into business. As Business Development Manager at Aroma Real Estate, I helped grow the customer base by 35% in six months and wrote the press releases, pitch decks and executive communications that supported client partnerships.

Alongside my main roles, I’ve built social media accounts from scratch for several clients, including a TikTok page for a Nigerian food business and an official Facebook page for Rivers State Polytechnic, where I designed the graphics and ran Facebook ads.

Now I’m based in Nairobi. I edit and review dubbed video content remotely for AVIEW International in Canada, teach English online and I’m finishing an MA in Corporate Communication at Multimedia University of Kenya. I’m looking for remote work in content, communications, or social media, with a team that cares about telling stories well.
