What I'm looking for

I seek a clinical laboratory role where I can apply molecular and diagnostic skills, contribute to quality systems, learn from experienced teams, and support accurate patient-focused testing.

I am a dedicated Biomedical Scientist with hands-on experience across pathology, haematology, chemistry, histology and molecular diagnostics gained through clinical internships at major Zambian hospitals.

I have practical experience in specimen reception, barcoding, compatibility testing, serological assays (Hep B, HIV, RPR), urinalysis, microscopy, culture and sensitivity, and preparing samples for platforms such as Hologic Panther and Cobas 4800.

In haematology I operated the Sysmex XN-1000, performed full blood counts, sickling tests, CD4 counts, and daily quality control with Levy-Jennings recording; in chemistry I worked with the Pentra C400 and supported departmental quality indicators and reporting.

I hold a BSc in Biomedical Sciences (Graduate with Merit), an HPCZ practicing license, strong laboratory management and safety knowledge, and a collaborative, detail-oriented approach to delivering reliable diagnostic results.
