At FALCOH Health Centre Bwiteva, I perform routine diagnostic tests on patient samples and maintain quality assurance systems.
At Buea Regional Hospital, I designed a study, secured ethical clearances and authorizations, and managed data collection. My laboratory analyses examined hepatitis B and patients’ haematological profiles, finding a significant correlation between ALT and AST liver enzymes and platelet count.
At Sub-divisional Hospital (CMA) Muea, I co-designed a study and supervised a team of five collecting participant data. I also facilitated referrals for pregnant participants who tested positive for malaria and co-authored a peer-reviewed publication on asymptomatic malaria.
My MSc in Haematology and Blood Banking builds on my Biomedical Sciences background. I’ve also contributed to research on hepatitis B in Bova Community, worked as a research team member at Buea Regional Hospital, and gained diagnostic laboratory experience at Kumba District Hospital.
