What I'm looking for

I'm looking to lead GIS-driven climate resilience, vulnerability assessment, and adaptation planning work that turns complex spatial analysis into practical public-sector decisions.

At Brizaga, I lead GIS for municipal resilience and planning projects, designing spatial methods for large-scale vulnerability assessments, adaptation plans, and targeted resiliency studies.

I've advanced firm-wide GIS methodologies, workflows, and analytical standards that expand the use of spatial data, automation, and integrated datasets across professional services. I use advanced GIS techniques and ArcPy automation to improve the efficiency, consistency, and scalability of concurrent municipal projects.

Previously, I created seven Florida Resilient Grant Program-compliant vulnerability assessments and increased assessment efficiency by 40% through seven ArcPy scripts for exposure mapping. I also developed six ArcGIS Survey123 surveys to support community outreach.

I bring environmental science research experience, technical writing, and a focus on translating complex spatial analysis into clear reports, maps, and planning deliverables for public-sector clients.
