Eugenia Demarchi

I’m a Frontend Developer based in Buenos Aires, grounded in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript, and currently completing a University Technical Degree in Programming at UTN.

My background as a professional visual artist (10+ years) and educator shapes how I design: I translate complex ideas into clear, accessible experiences for non-technical stakeholders—while keeping UI quality and communication at the center.

In my Digital Archive project, I built a TypeScript web app integrated with the Art Institute of Chicago’s public REST API. I implemented type-safe API responses, a custom error class hierarchy (network vs. application errors), and explicit UI states for loading, empty, error, and connection failure.

I also designed and built a responsive personal portfolio site from scratch, focusing on performance with WebP and blur-up loading, plus solid UX fundamentals like navigation and a contact form. I’m open to remote roles and international opportunities where strong frontend craftsmanship and stakeholder clarity matter.
