I built a Node.js and Express.js backend project with REST API endpoints for users and authentication, connected it to MySQL through XAMPP, and implemented JWT-based authentication. I tested API requests with Thunder Client and worked through authorization-header and token-handling issues.
In my web application security testing lab, I used OWASP Juice Shop and Burp Suite to inspect HTTP requests, analyze authentication and access controls, and document application behavior. I’m developing practical skills in web application security and secure software development, building on my experience with computer systems and information services.
