Etienne NTIBAZIYAREMYE

I am a Clinical Medicine and Community Health graduate from the University of Rwanda and currently an Intern Clinical Officer at Butaro Level Two Teaching Hospital. My career interests are centred on healthcare, clinical practice, public health, clinical research, data collection and management, and language-related digital work.

I have developed practical experience through clinical placements, community-based research, data collection, clinical documentation, and research data management. I have experience collecting information using structured questionnaires, adapting questionnaires from English to Kinyarwanda, conducting pre-testing, checking data for completeness and consistency, and managing datasets using Microsoft Excel and Stata 17. I completed a community-based research project involving 342 adult household participants, which strengthened my skills in field data collection, research documentation, data management, and evidence-based practice.

I also have practical Kinyarwanda transcription experience through the Jeenie platform, where I completed audio transcription tasks in Kinyarwanda. This experience strengthened my listening, language accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work with task-based digital platforms.

Beyond clinical work, I am interested in clinical research, public health, health data, AI and language-data projects, transcription, translation, data entry, and remote research support. I am particularly interested in opportunities where I can combine my healthcare background, Kinyarwanda language skills, research experience, and digital data skills to contribute to meaningful projects.

I am a reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented professional who can work independently while following instructions and meeting deadlines. I am open to both healthcare-related and remote opportunities that allow me to continue developing professionally, contribute to organisations, and gain experience in research, data, language, and digital work.
