Etienne Ibekwe

I’m an undergraduate software engineering student currently strengthening my skills through hands-on work in internships, academic projects, hackathons, and personal development. I’m passionate about writing clean, efficient code and using analytical thinking to solve complex challenges in a practical, team-focused environment.

At Bex-It Digital Solutions, I’m serving as a Software Engineering Intern (Jan 2026 – Present), where I develop responsive web applications with modern front-end frameworks. I collaborate with senior developers to implement clean, scalable code and help with deployment and maintenance of client-facing digital solutions.

My projects reflect how I like to build end-to-end experiences. I developed the Campus Guide Web Application by engineering the back-end to pull and display real-time data for dynamic updates. I also built a Currency Converter & Analytics Mobile App using API integration to convert 150+ currencies, visualize trends with interactive graphs, and deliver real-time updates through a news API.

I’ve also demonstrated leadership and performance under pressure as a Participant/Team Lead in the Aptech TechWiz Competition (2025), coordinating tasks and timelines to deliver a functional website. Academically, I earned Distinction in Software Engineering (ADSE), and I bring additional creativity from 3D content work in Blender (Modeling, Rigging, Texturing).
