I’m a supply chain management student and procurement-focused “Attachee,” driven to sharpen my skills while contributing to an institution’s vision through progressive and innovative work.
During my attachment at the Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industry, I supported tender notices and bid documents, assisted in bid opening and bid evaluation report compilation, helped prepare LPOs/LSOs, and contributed to supplier vetting, procurement record updates, and procurement committee minutes. I also supported procurement planning aligned with the Ministry’s budget and helped with monthly/quarterly procurement reports for submission to PPRA.
At KEMSA, I helped raise and process purchase requisitions and orders in the system, supported records management, and assisted in contract management by tracking supplier performance, delivery schedules, and compliance. I also contributed to inventory monitoring for medical commodities, market surveys for price/quality comparison, and applying PPADA procedures, alongside ethical procurement practices and procurement report preparation.
