At Safaricom Telecommunications Ethiopia PLC, I led development of M-PESA Lehulum, a lightweight, telco-agnostic version of M-PESA built for any Ethiopian SIM card. Its optimized Flutter architecture supported low data consumption, a small app footprint, and fast performance for low-end devices and rural regions.
At OoNt Services, I led mobile development of a Super App that brought together e-commerce, grocery delivery, ride-hailing, and logistics. I improved app load time by about 30% through architectural refactoring and widget optimization, and the app launched on the App Store and Play Store.
At iDrive Transport Services P.L.C, I built and maintained Flutter ride-hailing and food delivery apps with real-time updates. I integrated GraphQL and Firebase for ride tracking and order fulfillment, and implemented custom notification workflows.
My work has also included two nationwide labor market applications at Ethiopian Labor Market Information System (E-LMIS), and mobile and web applications for enterprise clients at RCNDC Consultancy. Most recently, as a Frontend Developer (Flutter) at Coopah, I delivered product features across mobile and web, using feature flags and production monitoring to support releases.
