I build cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, and observability automation for large-scale engineering teams.
What I'm looking for
At Apple, I build observability automation for the Data Platform Efficiency Team, enabling platform migrations with LLM-assisted tooling and helping reduce infrastructure and monitoring spend. Previously at Cisco, I expanded a company-wide Vault-as-a-service offering into a FedRAMP environment using Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS, Jenkins, Splunk, and Grafana.
Over more than five years at Brivo, I helped move teams from on-prem and manually created cloud resources to resilient, multi-environment GitOps deployments on Kubernetes. I’ve containerized microservices, built CI/CD pipelines and shared Jenkins libraries, deployed monitoring stacks, contributed to Java Spring applications, and wrote a Go Kubernetes mutating webhook for automated custom ingress IP allocation.
Experience
Work history, roles, and key accomplishments
Part of Apple Data Platform Efficiency Team. Built automation for observability platform (Grafana/Prometheus stack), enabled migration onto platform with LLM-assisted tooling. Participated & led cross-team efforts to reduce spend on infrastructure & monitoring.
Maintained and expanded the company-wide Vault-as-a-service offering. Brought the service into the FedRAMP environment, created automation using IaC in Terraform from scratch. Monitoring with Splunk and Grafana, deployment via Jenkins to Terraform to Kubernetes in AWS.
Applied CI/CD practices to build a multi-stage cloud environment; migrated from on-prem and manually created cloud resources to a resilient, IaC-defined platform. Monitoring with Datadog, ELK stack, Elastic APM, etc. Lambda/Serverless, Terraforming cross-cloud, Groovy scripting for Jenkins. Contributed to Java Spring framework apps, implemented cloud-native features, built standards by boilerplati
Same job as current position, but involving more Intern-type tasks, like updating Jenkinsfiles and doing repository cleanup for our microservices, or diving into any outstanding issue that the Ops team didn’t have time for, like AD integration with internal tooling, or debugging old PHP apps.
