CanadaWhat I'm looking for
Through Kyora IQ training and academic and independent portfolio projects, I applied NIST and HIPAA requirements to a simulated healthcare cybersecurity assessment. I documented control gaps, evaluated effectiveness, and prepared a remediation roadmap and executive presentation.
I built an Excel risk register and dashboard for the assessment, then created a framework mapping workbook connecting NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5 controls with NIST CSF 2.0, SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO/IEC 27001:2022. I also organized simulated cloud security findings into a POA&M and used Python to generate the workbook and an executive summary.
At The Home Depot Canada, CIBC, Canadian Tire Corporation, and Improvtek Consulting, I worked in business systems analysis roles across banking, retail, and operations. I documented requirements, coordinated UAT, and analyzed data using Excel, Power BI, and Tableau. I’m seeking my first GRC role supporting risk and compliance activities.
