@emmaclarke
Aspiring social worker dedicated to mental health and community outreach.
What I'm looking for
I am currently pursuing my Masters of Social Work at Western Carolina University, where I am also working towards becoming a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist. My passion lies in supporting individuals through innovative therapeutic approaches, including psychedelic integration and art therapy. I have presented my research internationally, focusing on models that mitigate burnout in social work programs.
Throughout my internships, I have gained extensive experience in casework, community outreach, and program development. At The Pearl Institute, I initiated a queer outreach group and launched a YouTube series on nervous system regulation. My work with the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians involved creating youth programs aimed at reducing substance use and improving probation policies. I am committed to fostering inclusivity and equity in all my endeavors.
