At Burke Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Montefiore Health System, I review pre-admission medical records and synthesize clinical information to support safe inpatient admissions. I identify inconsistencies and missing information, then seek clarification or escalate concerns when needed.
I care for medically complex patients across cardiopulmonary, transplant, neurological, stroke, spinal cord injury, orthopedic, dialysis, and post-surgical populations. I also participate in discussions about medical necessity, patient acuity, level of care, and discharge planning.
In my nursing work, I document in Epic and Meditech, make admissions and placement decisions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. I hold a BSN, am a New York State Registered Nurse and Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse, and have ACLS and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention credentials.
