At Clover Infotech, supporting Kotak Mahindra Bank, I administer SQL Server environments across DEV, UAT, and PROD, including installation and configuration from SQL Server 2014–2022.
I manage AlwaysOn Availability Groups and Log Shipping, and perform DR drills, planned failovers, and switchbacks. I also monitor database health and troubleshoot production issues such as blocking, deadlocks, and slow queries.
I handle full, differential, and log backups, point-in-time restores, and weekly index and statistics maintenance. I improved backup success to 99% by resolving job failures and automated index maintenance jobs.
I also reduced blocking incidents by optimizing long-running queries and improving index design, and improved AlwaysOn replica stability by resolving synchronization and endpoint issues.
