Edoardo Ratto

At IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, I coordinate the start-up and execution of up to 12 concurrent clinical trials across the Neurology and Neuroimaging Research Units. I act as a liaison between sponsors, CROs, and hospital departments to keep studies compliant and operationally on track.

I prepare essential documentation and ethics submissions, support patient recruitment and follow-up, and work closely with physicians and nurses to ensure protocol and GCP adherence. I also validate, clean, and review clinical data in CDMS systems to protect data integrity.

Previously, at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), I managed international collaborative projects, coordinated timelines and stakeholder communication, and contributed to four published manuscripts. I built reproducible data-analysis workflows for large research datasets and communicated findings through technical reports and international presentations.

My PhD in Cancer Biology and experience mentoring junior researchers give me a strong scientific foundation for connecting research, clinical teams, and external stakeholders.
