Edison Larco

My name is Edison Larco. I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with my bachelors in Computer Science - Software Engineering.

Some of my technical skills are: C, C++, Java, Android development, Dart, Flutter, Unity, C#, MongoDb, MySQL, Javascript, React, NextJS, HTML, CSS

During my UIC internship in Spring 2021, I developed an N-back Task Memory Training application by teaching myself how to develop it as an AR application using Unity and Microsoft HoloLens 2. In addition, in Fall 2021, I learned how to create Virtual Reality games with the Oculus Quest.

As a member of UIC's Honors College, I presented my Capstone project, at UIC's Fall 2021 Symposium, on how to develop cross-platform apps in Flutter by leveraging my prior Android development experience with Java.
I received an IBM certificate by developing a typography VR app focused on Clean Technologies. The app was developed in Unity and was deployed to the CAVE2 at UIC.

I developed my portfolio in NextJS where I showcase other React projects, as well as academic projects I did in the past.

I'm looking for a full-time job. I'm looking forward to learning more about software development in all industries by working with companies that are developing new apps/software for existing or future needs/products.
