Jyoti Thakur

I’m a Chemical Engineer with a PhD in Wastewater Treatment and an M.E in Environmental Engineering, backed by 10+ years of experience in water treatment, environmental analysis, and technical reporting. I focus on evaluating wastewater processes, controlling pollution, and supporting environmental compliance with practical, measurable insights.

As an Assistant Professor – Environmental Engineering, I delivered expertise in wastewater treatment, environmental systems, and pollution control. I conducted technical analysis of water treatment processes, environmental systems, and compliance parameters, and I prepared technical reports and case studies on wastewater treatment and environmental management. I also guided projects on EIA, water quality, and sustainability practices, while serving as academic and admin coordinator for the chemical engineering department for 10 years—building environmental labs and contributing as a key member of the BOS for environmental subjects.

My research deepens my applied impact: I developed and evaluated adsorption-based treatment systems, studied dye removal efficiency from wastewater, and optimized treatment parameters for improved performance. I’ve also worked across environmental and water projects such as Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) analysis, air pollution control system design, biogas generation & waste management, and oil spill impact & mitigation strategies.

Through research publications, conference presentations, and continuous training, I keep strengthening both technical depth and communication quality. I bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a consistent focus on technical documentation and reporting, so teams can move from data to decisions confidently.
