Don Bry

I am a BA.LLB (Hons) graduate with a postgraduate LLM, and I have completed courses in intellectual property law and the art of contract drafting and due diligence. I’m highly interested in corporate Law, Intellectual Property Rights, and corporate governance, because I want my work to create real, positive impact through the available legal mechanisms.

In my practice experience at K. Lughanje & Co Advocates (13/06/2023 – 2025), I supported legal research, drafted legal documents and assisted with conveyancing, attended Court proceedings, and handled client interviews and pre-trial preparation. I developed a disciplined approach to reviewing matters, preparing properly, and supporting cases with accurate documentation.

I also built a strong compliance and advisory foundation through a Research internship at the office of company secretary, Ekcel Academy (Jan- Feb 2022), where I prepared a report on the international opportunities for the profession of company secretary. Earlier exposure through legal compliance chamber work strengthened my contract reviewing, due diligence, and pre-trial preparation capabilities.

Beyond technical work, I lead with clarity and collaboration, drawing from my experience as Vice Chair KASA and Sports Secretary FISA-M. I’m self-motivated, goal oriented, flexible, and a faster learner—focused on developing my organizational and leadership skills while delivering results efficiently with minimal supervision.
