Work under Andrew Tan, PhD by drawing blood, aliquoting blood of various participants to observe the changes in serum post-acute intermittent hypoxic conditions. Collect and interpret data using biostatistics and various coding mechanisms.

Work under Dr. Coco Dughi to obtain patient medical history, vital signs, chart preparation, medication dosage and frequency, patient allergens, and assist with medical examinations. Also includes rooming patients and taking brief histories. Answering incoming telephone calls, obtaining and/or verifying patient information, and patient check in/out.

Attend weekly meetings to review what material is being covered in the following week’s experiment. Set up exercise physiology equipment before students arrive to lab and teach students how to use equipment upon arrival. Be available in during the lab period and outside of the period via email for homework questions and calculations.

Organize meetings with various medical professionals to encourage/assist students in pursuing a career in healthcare.

Work in the internal medicine department under 12 providers to learn various protocols and procedures to ensure a smooth transition from the medical assistant internship to a medical assistant position after graduation. Enter in results of incoming diagnostic and screening procedures for annual exams and follow up appointments. Code, scan, and neatly organize results, progress notes, and anything

Teach children from the Zbraslav neighborhood of Prague the skills and benefits of playing box lacrosse. Travel across the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, and Slovakia playing lacrosse in the NBLL. Teach English to 5–18-year-old students using self-made lesson plans and organized extracurricular activities outside of the classroom to enhance students’ language skills.

Took a semester long training course to teach high school students and adult groups how to engage in various outdoor activities including belaying, rock climbing, and teamwork building activities. Organized ski trips, as well as several other outdoor expeditions for large groups from other high schools, work retreats, etc.

Currently pursuing a medical degree at Charles University First Faculty of Medicine in Prague.

Earned a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Physiology with a minor in Public Health from the University of Colorado Boulder.
