At Semrush, I test a SaaS product spanning backend services, microservices, REST and gRPC APIs, and web interfaces. I built an automated testing foundation from scratch for a newly formed team.
I develop backend tests in Go and frontend tests in JavaScript with Playwright, and achieved nearly 100% backend automation coverage within the supported scope. I also automated analytics event verification for Amplitude and GA4, reducing repetitive manual checks.
I use OpenAI Codex and Cursor to create and refactor tests, generate test cases, analyse requirements, and prepare QA documentation. I also investigate application behaviour with Splunk and Grafana and integrate automated tests into GitLab CI/CD workflows.
Alongside my primary role, I worked part-time at Group of Companies CDS, testing an internal CRM and business workflows from apartment booking through contract signing. My QA work there included test scenarios, regression and end-to-end testing, and early checklists for risks and edge cases.
