My academic coursework included hands-on digital forensics work: analyzing email headers to trace message routing and identify phishing indicators (SPF/DKIM/DMARC authentication, spoofed Return-Path fields), and reconstructing a security incident timeline from multi-camera surveillance footage into a formal investigative report with findings and recommendations. My capstone project involved researching and designing a hardware-based, biometric-enabled authentication concept, grounded in a literature review of credential stuffing, AI-driven attacks, and quantum computing threats to cryptographic systems, with design principles aligned to NIST CSF. Separately, my GRC coursework included a technical evaluation of NIST Special Publication 1800-44A's DevSecOps and Zero Trust guidance, analysis of a real-world breach case study (the 23andMe credential stuffing incident), and evaluation of social engineering attack vectors and mitigating controls.
