I’m a Data Engineer with 13+ years in technology and 9+ years focused on SQL Server, Oracle, ETL, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence.
Since 2021 I’ve worked at Dock, a Latin American banking-as-a-service platform with 70 million active accounts, R$ 1.4 trillion in annual card volume and 1.3 billion Pix transactions per year. My focus is database performance in high-volume transactional environments. Key results:
Cut the credit card billing cycle from 200 to 50 minutes (−75%) by designing a pre-processing procedure that removed tens of millions of inactive accounts from three critical routines.
Re-engineered a multi-issuer campaign-loading procedure, reducing processing times by 53% to 93% (e.g., 179 → 14 minutes).
Migrated annual-fee data for 13 million accounts of a banking client, validated through reconciliation and sampling.
Used AI tools to speed up data type migrations on high-volume tables (int → bigint, smallmoney → money), cutting delivery time from 5 to 2 days.
Before Dock, I spent several years implementing corporate BI solutions for companies across logistics, manufacturing, food, healthcare products and textiles. One example is a transportation company with 5,000 employees and 5 million deliveries per year. I built ETL pipelines, dimensional models and dashboards covering operations, HR, costs and financial results.
I started my career as a C#/.NET developer, which gives me a solid software engineering foundation.
I enjoy solving complex performance problems and turning data into reliable, efficient systems. I’m currently looking for remote Data Engineering roles where I can work with large-scale data, modern data stacks and international teams.
