At the Institute of Geographical Information Systems (IGIS), I worked with the project team to process MODIS-derived Land Surface Temperature data and produce seamless maps for dengue and Zika vector monitoring.
For my master’s thesis at NUST, I developed a GIS-based Area Livability Index Model for climate-adaptive planning. I integrated vegetation, built-up area, temperature, rainfall, and solar radiation data using Google Earth Engine and QGIS.
I’ve mapped flood extent using Sentinel-1 SAR imagery and assessed earthquake and tsunami hazard zones in a semester project, estimating exposed populations and infrastructure to support preparedness decisions.
My work also includes GIS map digitization and spatial data quality checks at National Science & Technology Park. I use tools including QGIS, ArcGIS, Python, and PyQGIS for spatial analysis, mapping, and geospatial data processing.
