Dicky Akbar

I’m a Graphic Design graduate from SMKN 7 Jakarta (Persiapan Grafika), where I learned and practiced Desain Pra Cetak (Grafika). I combine a structured, detail-focused approach with creative execution, supported by tools like Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office.

On the writing side, I’ve earned results in multiple competitions, including Juara Terbaik 3 Sayembara Menulis Cerita Pendek and winning Juara 1 in a national anthology event (Prince Publishing). I’ve also contributed as an active writer—publishing 13 articles for penapenulis.com—and shared knowledge as a speaker on World Building for writers.

I’m still building my craft across mediums: as a contributor for Komunitas Kawan Pena Penulis, I write regularly and present on Creative Writing, while my filmmaking experience as a Volunteer (Departemen Artistik on the short film JAGA) keeps me thinking visually and narratively.
